Volunteer Opportunities

Community Events

Provide assistance with organizational duties (i.e., coordinating) of community events, educational seminars and awareness campaigns to promote child safety and family wellness.

Administrative Support

Contribute to various administrative tasks such as completing office projects, organizing and gathering materials, creating and/or preparing resources and general administrative assistance to aid the staff in being able to provide services to families in a timely manner.

Fundraising Assistance

Support fundraising events and community initiatives that Participate in fund raising activities and assist in supporting local community events that will allow us to grow our programs and services to benefit children and families.


Community Outreach

Represent the Children's Response Center at community functions, resource fairs and educational presentations; assisting families by connecting them with potential services they can receive.


Professional Volunteers

Our organization has many professional roles available to those with skills in education, communications, marketing, events, technology or non-profit support. We would appreciate your time and expertise as we work together to help us further our mission.

Who Can Volunteer?

People from all backgrounds interested in giving their time to make a positive contribution to the well-being of children and families can volunteer. Those with ideal qualifications are:

  • Genuine caring and dependability

  • Understanding of the importance of confidentially

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • A strong desire to support children and families during difficult times.

  • Ability to function as an effective team member

  • Commitment to serving your local community.


Dependent upon the type of volunteer opportunity, your application may require a criminal history check, interview or orientation.

Getting involved is simple.


Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

Submit the volunteer inquiry form on this website or just call/ email us so we know what you're interested in doing


Step 2: Meet Our Team

We will talk with you to find out some basic information about you (interests, experience, etc.) so we can see if we can put you into a position that would be right for both you & us.


Step 3: Complete Orientation

Some selected volunteers will go through orientation/training so they can get up-to-date on our organization, its values & what it means to be a part of our volunteer program.


Step 4: Start Making a Difference

Become a member of our volunteer team & start helping us achieve our goal of supporting children & their families in healing & growing.
